300 victims were recognized from Jackson, Calhoun, DeWitt, Lavaca, Goliad and other areas of Texas. There were many families from Jackson County who came to remember their loved ones as well as Judge Jill Sklar; Sheriff Rick Boone and his Chief Deputy, Rick Bermea; Edna Police Chief Kenneth Pyle, Ganado Police Chief Nathan Bes wler and JP Cyndi Poulton.
A woman spoke about her daughter that was killed in Edna, also Lizbeth Median’s mother, Jackie spoke, and Mary Sklar helped read the names of the victims.
