Jackson County Judge Jill Sklar has been recognized by the Texas Association of Counties for her leadership and service as Chair of the board of directors of the County Information Resources Agency.
The County Information Resources Agency (CIRA), offered through the Texas Association of Counties, provides technology services and support specifically designed for Texas county governments,” said Sklar. “CIRA helps counties securely manage websites, email, data hosting, and other critical IT functions while staying compliant with state standards. Its goal is to give counties reliable, affordable tools to operate efficiently and protect sensitive information.”
Sklar, who was elected to her office as Jackson County a judge in 2019, served on the board for four years, and her term ends on December 31.
