An open meeting/ gathering of the Jackson County Commissioners’ Court will occur on Tuesday, December 2, at 9 a.m. for a stakeholder workshop with Burns Architecture, LLC.
The business is contracted to two phases of a concept plan for one, an Emergency Operations Center and Dispatch, with phase two being the new Justice Center and what it would contain.
“The open meeting will discuss the area that would be needed and the cost estimate of the project,” said Wayne Bubela, Commissioner for Precinct two, and Mayor Pro-Tem.
No action will be taken on any matters that may be discussed in the gathering and no record will be made or kept.
A resolution was also passed for the Friends of Elder Citizens for the Texans Feeding Texans program. The court agreed to match the total amount given to the FOEC by Golden Crescent.
Lastly, the Jackson County Transfer Station rate increase proposal was tabled at the last Commissioners’ Court meeting.
