The Edna Cowboys took on the Marion Bulldogs on Friday night and delivered another dominant postseason performance, securing a 38-14 victory to advance deeper into the playoffs.
Marion opened the game with the ball, but Edna immediately set the tone. Aidan Lugo stopped the return, and strong pass coverage from Jordon Bryant and Kyler Runnels forced an early punt.
The Cowboys’ offense began their drive on their own 41-yard line. Edna moved the ball quickly to begin the game before Maverick Robertson powered forward for short-yardage gain, and Trevor Floyd connected with Khylon Robinson for the first touchdown of the night.
