Get ready for a weekend full of food, fun, and community spirit at the 24th Annual Texana Chili Spill, happening November 6th–8th at the Brackenridge Main Event Center. This annual event is proudly presented by the Lavaca- Navidad River Authority (LNRA) and the Jackson County Go-Texan Committee.
The festivities kick off on Thursday, November 6th at 5 p.m. with the Veterans Ceremony and Appreciation Dinner, sponsored by HE- B. All veterans, active military members, and their immediate families are invited to attend this special evening honoring those who serve. A fireworks display, sponsored by Whataburger, will light up the sky following the ceremony.
Cook-off competitions begin on Friday, November 7th, featuring the crowd favorites — Salsa and Margarita Competitions — along with the Chef’s Choice, Sausage, and Go-Texan Dutch Oven Dessert contests. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., guests can unwind in the Wine & Beer Garden with beverages from Lavaca Bluffs Winery and The Beer Ranch and enjoy live acoustic entertainment from Chris Zuber.
