Veterans Appreciation Dinner, Ceremony and Fireworks

The Lavaca-Navidad River Authority and the Jackson County Go-Texan Committee are proud to present the 24th Annual Texana Chili Spill, taking place November 6th-8th at the Brackenridge Main Event Center in Edna.

The celebration begins on Thursday, November 6th, with the annual Veterans Dinner starting at 5 p.m. This special evening will feature an Appreciation Dinner sponsored by H-E-B, followed by a Veterans Ceremony honoring all who have served. The event’s guest speaker will be United States Marine Corp Retiree, David Gregory. A catered BBQ dinner will be provided for all veterans and their families.

This year’s event will also welcome a special group of Wounded War Heroes, whose participation is made possible in part by Inteplast Group.

Following the ceremony, guests are encouraged to stay for a spectacular fireworks display, sponsored by Whataburger, lighting up the night sky shortly after dark.

The Brackenridge Main Event Center is located approximately six miles south of Edna on State Highway 111.
