The Lavaca Navidad River Authority held their annual Spooktacular Trail and Carnival on Saturday, October 25, and attendees didn’t let a little rain stop them from enjoying the evening. The night included costume contests, pumpkin decorating contest, a haunted trail, education and art stations, s’mores station, pumpkin patch, and more. Rain showers threatened to close the event early, but let up enough that the trail was able to reopen. Jessica Coleman/ Herald Tribune
