This week we had 324 cows, 18 bulls, and 9 goats. The packer cows and bulls market was steady to $5 lower. We will continue to see more cows with the ongoing drought which will weaken the packer market.
The calf market was steady to $3-$5 lower. Good cattle are selling extremely well while the plainer cattle backed up somewhat. Demand is strong but with large sales volume, buyers can be more selective.
