Four members of the Texana Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) attended the District Workshop held in Boerne on September 26-27.
The members met with representatives of 10 other Chapters in the District in the “Head for the Hills in Boerne” gathering to receive State updates and share Chapter activities.
DRT is comprised of women whose ancestors lived and served in Texas prior to statehood in the US. The focus of the organization is on honoring and preserving the rich heritage of our Texas history. The Texana Chapter welcomes those who are interested in participating and joining as Associate Members as well as those who meet the qualifications for full membership.
