The market was mixed this week. Light weight classes continued strong, selling steady to $6 higher. Heavier weight classes sold steady mostly $3 to $6 lower on the better kinds. Fleshy bull calves and bull yearlings sold $6 to $10 lower as well as the #2 kinds. Calves still bringing lots of dollars.
Packer cows and bulls sold steady and strong on a supply of 225 head.
Good stocker cows and heifers, 3,150-3,950; medium stocker cows and heifers, 1,800-2,500; good cow and calf pairs, none; medium cow and calf pairs, two pair, 2,500.
Packer cows: high dressing cows, 155-179; medium dressing cows, 135-155; low dressing cows, 115135; poor/weak cows, 90 115.
Packer bulls: high dressing bulls, 188-201; medium dressing bulls; 170-188; low dressing bulls, 150-170.
