Back to school rally

Back to school rally — The Edna Lions Club participated in the Back to School Rally on Thursday, August 7 at Edna Elementary school. The Lions Club handed out free hot dogs and provided vision screening for 144 students, with 30 referrals needing further examination by an optometrist. Members of the Eleanor Brackenridge Literary Club who helped with the vision screening are Sandra Ray, Jeannie Hale, Janie Riddle, and Diann Walleck.
