The Lavaca-Navidad River Authority (LNRA) will hold the annual Lavaca Basin Clean Rivers Program (CRP) meeting on Thursday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at the Lavaca Navidad River Authority Main Office Building C located approximately six miles southeast of Edna, Jackson County, Texas off Highway 3131. Lavaca Basin includes the communities of Edna, Ezell, Ganado, Hallettsville, Louise, Moulton, Schulenburg, Shiner, Sweet Home, Yoakum, and rural areas in between. The public is cordially invited to attend: The draft agenda for this year’s meeting includes: Chad Kinsfather, LNRA Director Environmental Services, will discuss current water sampling schedules, give an update on the Lavaca Watershed Protection Plan, and present the findings from the Bacterial Source Tracking study in the Basin.
