BINGO: EBLC & JC wins
The June 12, 2025, Fiesta- themed Bingo contest, sponsored by the Eleanor Brackenridge Literary Club became legendary in its success despite the arrival of an impending rain event. A crowd of approximately 175 participants played with enthusiasm during the eight game and 1 blackout contest. President Carolyn Strnadel, along with the membership and some hard-working husbands created a memorable annual summer bash.
In addition to the awarded Bingo prizes, a raffle for a homemade wreath and the “red dot” extra opportunity for a win produced additional funding to re-enforce EBLC’s ability to aid others in our county.
The Jackson County Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program, after-school help programs and other projects that support worthwhile objectives is a major goal of the ladies of EBLC who have been improving the lives of Jackson County residents since 1901.
