Macario Aguirre

    Macario R. Aguirre “Mack”, of Edna, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, at the age of 79. He was born in Kyle, Texas on March 10, 1938, to the late Felix Aguirre and Mariana Romo Aguirre.     Macario will be greatly missed by his son, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.     Macario is survived by his son, William Aguirre; sisters, Tomasa Vela, Vivian Martinez, and Debbie Martinez (Toby Sr.); brother, Frank Aguirre (Linda); sister-in-law, Anita Aguirre; grandchildren, Connie Aguirre and Christina Ashmore (Tyler); great-grandson; Liam Ashmore; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.     In addition to his parents Macario is preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Aguirre and Janie Aguirre; brother-in-law’s; John Vela and Loranzo Martinez; brothers, Felix Aguirre, Jr. and Antonio Aguirre.     Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, from noon -2 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 2 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel.
