Dennis Mozisek

Dennis R. Mozisek, has gone fishing at the age of 66 years old. He left his heartbroken family much too soon on June 10, 2018. He is once again in the loving arms of his mother and father, Dorothy and Otto Mozisek.     Dennis graduated from Industrial High School. He was fortunate to grow up working alongside his father in the rice fields. Dennis continued to work for Mr. Hafernick, and then his brother-in-law, Lee, for 36 years. In 2006, he began working at Kresta’s Boats and Motors, where he got paid to do what he loved best – talking to people about fishing, while selling boats and parts. Dennis also spent many years ranching. Dennis loved fishing, hunting, gardening and any outdoor activity. Anyone who talked to Dennis knew that he had just been fishing or was about to go fishing. He always out fished everyone! Dennis had a quick wit about him, which always kept people laughing. He still had so much living to do and cancer robbed him of many happy years. His hope was to spend many more years fishing and to watch his grandchildren grow up.     Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ann H. Mozisek; daughters, Tara and Phil Hughes, Kari Nicole (Nicki) and Mike Sulak, Jean and Chris Aldridge;  son, Jay Neukomm; sisters, Jan Clinkscales, Cathy and Andy Brzozowski, Peggy and Ricky Frederick; brothers, Otto and Linda Mozisek, Tommy and Alannah Mozisek; grandchildren, Jake, Katie, Gunnar, and Rowe Hughes, Karsen and Hallie Sulak, Ella, Kyle, Caleb, and Kacey Aldridge; sister-in-law, Edie and Glenn Emshoff; brother-in-law, Lee and Robbie Hafernick; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.     Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ronald Clinkscales.     Visitation and celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, between the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the St. Agnes Catholic Hall in Edna.     In lieu of flowers or donations, please cherish your family, friends and good times and make each day a special time with those you love.     “I will always, always love you,” Ann.     Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. 361-782-2221.
