Fire Destroys Ganado Apartments

A fire destroyed the McFarland Street apartments in Ganado in the early morning of Oct. 20. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
“There were seven residents in total,” Edna Fire Chief Kurt Janica said. “With aggressive fire fighting tactics, we were able to save the contents from four of those apartments.”
The fire started around 2 a.m. and all local fire departments responded.
