Lupe Martinez Rosalez, 85, of Ganado, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. She was born March 29, 1925, in Ganado. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Garcia of Ukiah, Calif., Katy Alvarez of Ganado, Ella Alvarez of Ganado, and Linda Ramirez of Edna; sons, Alberto Rosalez, Ray Rosalez Jr., and Rick Rosalez, all of Ganado; sisters, Mary Vasquez of Ganado, Georgie Garcia of Hillje, Delores De Los Santos of Ganado, Toni Martin and Isabel Escamilla, both of Ukiah, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rosalez; father, Alberto Martinez; mother, Florinda Reyes; brother, Juan Martinez; sister, Concuelo Rosalez; son, Johnny Rosalez; and daughter, Mary DeLeon.
Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Ganado Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 21, at Assumption Catholic Church of Ganado, the Rev. Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery of Ganado.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home, Ganado, 361-771-2120.
