Dennis asks for help with water

Ganado resident Tommy Dennis wants the drainage on Mauritz St. fixed before another hurricane hits the area. Dennis was at the July 13 council meeting to air his concerns.
He told council the people who live on the north side of Ganado were flooded the last time a tropical storm came through the area and nothing had been done since then to address the flooding.
“I met with county officials and they said they would help,” he said. “Since then I haven’t heard anything. The ditches need to be cleaned out periodically.”
Mayor Clinton Tegeler told Dennis the city does not own the equipment necessary to mow the ditch...
