Looking for the county's top pets

Do you have a dog or cat that is extraordinarily cute? The Jackson County Herald-Tribune is looking for the cutest, most photogenic dog and cat in the county that will be named “Top Dog” and “Top Cat.”
Bring a current photo of your pet and a $15 photo/entry fee to the Jackson County Herald-Tribune before Thursday, July 22. All entries will be published in the July 28 issue of the JCHT and winners will be published in the Aug. 4 edition.
Members of Happy Tails Animal Shelter will judge entries and select the winners. There will be three winners per category, Top Dog, first runner up and second runner up; and Top Cat, first runner up and second runner up. Prizes including animal products will be awarded each winner.
Only one pet per submitted photo, please.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Happy Tails.
Any business or organization wishing to sponsor the contest should contact Pam at 782-3547.
